Dr. David Llewelyn

Dr. David Llewelyn has been a long-term member of this practice and a long-term Blackwood Hills resident. He has an interest in all facets of medicine, and as such has built up a large patient base at the practice. In his spare time he enjoys running, renovating, and following the Crows.


Dr. Stephen Balasis

Dr. Stephen Balasis graduated from Flinders University in 1994. After gaining experience in the major teaching hospitals in South Australia, in 2000 he moved to Melbourne to enter general practice training. He enjoys practicing in all areas of general practice, but has an interest in Paediatrics and Men's Health, as well as GP Registrar training. Dr. Balasis is married with 3 young children. On weekends he enjoys going to the football and hopes, one day soon, to be celebrating the Crows' 3rd premiership.


Dr. Jayde Clark     (Currently on maternity leave)

Dr. Jayde Clark (nee Llewelyn) completed her medical training at The University of Adelaide in 2003 before working at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre (including a stint in Whyalla). She subsequently undertook general practice training in South Australia in outer metropolitan locations and an Aboriginal Health centre. She joined Blackwood Clinic in 2008, became a Partner in 2009, and continues to enjoy the breadth of medicine that general practice offers. She is accredited in Obstetric Shared Care. She is currently working part-time due to starting a family. Her other interests include spending time with family/friends, walking/jogging and travel.


Dr. Robyn March

Dr Robyn March completed her post graduate medical degree at Flinders University following an Arts Degree in International Relations and Sociology which she completed in 1996. She began her working life as a Registered Nurse having trained at St Andrews Hospital. After her children were born she returned to University to study medicine (via a long route) including a year of study in Berri South Australia. She worked for a number of years at Flinders Medical Centre with rotations in psychiatry, emergency and obstetrics being  special interest areas. She did further training in South Australia and gained her Fellowship in General Practice. She became a partner at Blackwood Clinic in 2011. She is Adelaide born, Leigh Creek raised and now a long term Adelaide resident with her husband and adult children. She enjoys family life, gardening and travel.

(Dr Robyn March currently has her books closed to both new patients and current patients of the practice that do not regularly consult her)

Dr. Eleanor Evans
MBBS, FRACGP, Dip. Children's Health

Dr. Eleanor Evans is accredited in Obstetric Shared Care and was awarded a Diploma in Children's Health by Westmead's Children's Hospital in 2010. Dr. Evans is happy to see all patients but the areas in which she has pursued further education are Child and Adolescent Health.   Most recently she has delivered several talks on relationship and sexual health to teenagers. The focus of the talk is tailored to the age of the students to which it is delivered and has been well received by students, parents and teachers.  Interested parents and teachers are welcome to contact the clinic for further details. 


Dr. Christopher Lucking

Dr Chris Lucking graduated from Leeds Medical School in the United Kingdom in 2001. He spent several years training in General Hospital Medicine both in the UK and at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2005/06, where he met his wife. Having returned to the UK to finish his GP training he moved back to Adelaide and has been working at Blackwood Clinic since 2011. He is a keen Soccer player and sportsman and as such his interests include sports injuries as well as General Medicine. He has 2 young children and is very happy to see children of all ages.


Dr Tudor Thomas


Tudor graduated from The University of Adelaide in 2007, and gained experience across numerous specialities in the hospital system before commencing GP training. He was awarded FRACGP in 2014. He is interested in all aspects of primary care, and has a special interest in excisions and minor procedures. Tudor plays Soccer to keep active, and tinkers around the house and garden.

Dr. Elizabeth Kenihan

Dr. Liz Kenihan has worked for many years in general practice before joining Blackwood Clinic. She enjoys the full range of general practice, holds a Diploma of Child Health and has experience in travel medicine and laser therapies. She is developing and interest in dermoscopy and skin cancer medicine. Outside of work she enjoys running, cycling and travelling with her husband and family.


Dr Niamh Devlin     (Currently on maternity leave)

MBBChBAO, MICGP (Ire) FRACGP, Dip. Therapeutics

Niamh graduated medicine from UCD in Ireland in 2003. She spent a year working in Melbourne then returned to Ireland to complete training as a General Practitioner. Niamh and her husband moved to Adelaide in January 2012. She is interested in all areas of general practice. She is accredited in Shared Obstetric Care, in Implanon insertion/removal, and has a diploma in Therapeutics. Her interests include food and cooking, cycling and travel.


Dr Michel Von

BBiomedSc (Monash), BMBS (Flinders), DCH (Sydney), FRACGP

Michel was born in France but has spent his whole life growing up and exploring wonderful 'straya.
Graduating Medicine in 2011 from Flinders University, he completed his internship at Mount Gambier Hospital before securing a general medical officer position at the Women's and Children's Hospital. Following 2 wonderful years making funny faces at children, he commenced his general practice community placements in 2015, completing his training in 2017.

In his spare time, Michel enjoys reading fantasy novels, playing computer games, watching Disney movies, and making funny faces at his own little boy.
Please be warned: Michel's singing voice needs work and he will quite happily sing Disney songs with any children nearby.

Dr. Maxwell Ian Sorby Adams

BMBS, BA (Soc/Pol)

Max grew up in Belair, and has his pre-medical background as an Arts student and professionally successful Personal Trainer. He is a Flinders Univsersity medical graduate from 2011.

After completing his medical internship at Flinders Medical Centre in 2012, he obtained Registration as a General Practitioner in Norway, where he worked for two and a half years in rural General Practice, and for one year in Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation.

He returned to Adelaide with his wife and two children in 2016, and is now undergoing General Practice training in Australia. Max loves being a GP because it allows him to provide holistic and ongoing care for his patients.


Dr Roxanne Cheung

BMBS, Dip. Children's Health

Roxanne completed her medical degree at the University of Tasmania, before moving to Adelaide to complete her hospital training years. She has also been awarded a Diploma of Child Health from Children's Hospital Westmead. This is her second and likely final year in GP training, and her developing interests are paediatrics, women's health and travel. Outside of work, she enjoys any combinations of travel, food, yoga, swimming and having a laugh at amateur badminton!

Dr Chrissy Lai


Dr Chrissy Lai graduated from Flinders University in 2006 after a Bachelor of Science degree from University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She started her working career at Flinders Medical Centre and has rotated through the major surgical specialties before starting general practice training in rural South Australia. She has a special interest in pediatrics and palliative care. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring all the different regions of Australia and the rest of the world.

Dr Russell Shute

BMBS, FRACGP, DCH, Dip. Pall Med

Russell is a GP with wide experience in both country and urban locations. He has had considerable extra training and experience in palliative care and is involved in education with medical students, GP registrars and GPs in this area. He is also an examiner for the college of GPs. He enjoys following the Crows (but will watch any sport if given the chance), watching movies and loves to go walking with his Border Collie Tilly!

Dr. Diana Cox

Dr. Di Cox retired from general practice on 30th September 2015 to focus on her interests in golf, painting, cooking, snow skiing and holidaying with her husband who is a glass artist.
